Delivery Info

Due to COVID-19 House of Blooms has initiated several new delivery policies. 

We are accepting "porch only deliveries" for all deliveries to the recipient's home address.  We  will call the recipient to check the best time for delivery and call again once the arrangement has been placed on their porch.

We will accept deliveries to Assisted Living Facilities, Hospitals and a Business on a case by case scenario.

We will accept deliveries to Apartments that can be left at a front reception area for the recipient to retrieve.

We will accept deliveries to a Funeral Home or Worship Area on a case by case scenario.  We are recommending that arrangements or plants be sent to the family home address.

These policies will be in place until we get past the COVID-19 crisis. 

 

Delivery Policy

To honor our satisfaction guarantee, the recipient may be called to schedule delivery. We do not accept requests for delivery at specific times of day. Substitutions may be necessary to ensure your arrangement or specialty gift is delivered in a timely manner. For residential deliveries, if the recipient is not available at the time of delivery, the delivery person may leave the gift in a safe place for the recipient to retrieve when they return or attempt delivery the next day. For business deliveries, if the business is closed or not accepting deliveries, delivery will be attempted the next business day.

Delivery Status

Please consider your order delivered on the day you requested if you receive a confirmation. If we have any difficulties with your order, we will contact you by telephone and/or e-mail.

Floral Deliveries to the U.S. and Canada

 * Note all transactions are in US currency. In the U.S. and Canada, same-day delivery is generally available Monday through Saturday on orders received before 12:00 pm in the recipient's time zone (excluding holidays and peak floral delivery periods). Orders received after 12:00 pm in the recipient's time zone may be delivered the next delivery day. There are no deliveries on Sundays and legal holidays. Please make sure that your order information is accurate and complete in order to avoid delivery delays. This would include the apartment or suite # if needed, an access gate code and most especially a current telephone number.

Incorrect Address/Re-Delivery

Changes to address information or incorrect addresses after the order has been placed resulting in a re-delivery will be subject a $10.00 charge.

Floral Order Delivery Times

Most florist shops make deliveries during normal business hours (9AM to 5PM). However, since we do not know each florist's delivery schedule for a particular day, we will be unable to guarantee delivery requests for a specific time or within an hourly range unless verbally agreed. Requests may be taken for either an AM or PM delivery with a verbal confirmation, but they cannot be guaranteed without an additional fee required for special delivery.

 

When the Recipient Is Not Home

The florist may choose to leave the arrangement with a neighbor or manager and attach a note to the recipient's door stating who accepted the arrangement on their behalf; or if the area is secure, to leave the arrangement at the door. The florist may also leave a note on the recipient's door asking the recipient to call the florist's shop and arrange a convenient time for re-delivery. Another option is calling the recipient first to arrange a delivery time. If the recipient is at work all day, we suggest sending the arrangement to the workplace. Incomplete or incorrect address or phone numbers may delay delivery. Most florists employ professional delivery personnel who will find the best delivery choice for your special gift.

International Floral Deliveries

Due to the various time zones between the U.S. and other continents, same day delivery is not available. We can only guarantee delivery dates for orders received three business days in advance. You must call us to place an international delivery order; you cannot do so online.

During the holidays deliveries may be made as late as 9pm. For business deliveries, if the business is closed or not accepting deliveries, delivery will be attempted the next business day. Basic delivery fees will be applied and charged for redelivery. During the holidays deliveries may be made as late as 5pm. Our goal is to respond to your inquiry within 48 hours.
